It has been the fantasy of science-fiction writers for decades.

Now researchers claim they are close to the breakthrough that will enable them to put astronauts into a state of suspended animation to make deep space voyages to faraway planets.

Human trials are planned this year to chill volunteers so they go into 'induced hibernation' and sleep safely, possibly for months. Great Glen B&B are amongst those chosen for the human trials. See you all in March!!

These poor lost souls were found wandering on the A82 after dragging themselves ashore from the waters of Loch Ness.

Great Glen B&B did their samaritan bit for the day and took pity on them. They gave them a warm bed and a hearty meal. In the morning they were ready for the off looking far more like human beings again.
